Mrs. Edward Zinkel, 55, of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, died Thursday evening at the Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Northeim. The Rev. L. Lisowski will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. She was born Rose Stadler in the town of Two Rivers in 1897 and in 1917 was married to Charles Sprang. They located on a farm in the town. Her husband died in 1925. In 1928 she was married to Edward Zinkel and they located on the present farm in Newton. She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Casimir congregation. Survivors are the husband; five sons, Anton of Manitowoc, Richard of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, Herman of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, Carl of Newton, and Arthur of Rt. 3, Manitowoc; seven daughters, Mrs. Ivan Fictum of Manitowoc Rapids, Mrs. Ray Trainor of Manitowoc, Mrs. Abdon Kolbeck of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, and Myrtle, Rose, Florence and Delores at home; two sisters, Agnes Stadler of Manitowoc and Mrs. August Glandt of Two Rivers; four brothers, Anton of Manitowoc, Carl of LaCrosse and Joseph and Bernard of Rt. 5, Manitowoc; and 15 grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday where the rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m. Saturday by the Rosary Society and at 8 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. L. Lisowski.
