Lucy O. Sieracki, age 92, formerly of 4218 So. 10th Street, Manitowoc, died on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center. Lucy was born September 17, 1920 in Larabee, WI, daughter of the late Ferdinand and Grace (Najemnik) Abbet. On September 4, 1944 she married Daniel J. Sieracki in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2000. The couple owned and operated the Sieracki Potato Farm for all of their lives and the farm is still operated by family today. Lucy was an avid bird watcher. She also cared for many feral cats. She loved reading and big band music. (Survivors omitted for privacy) She was preceded in death by her husband: Daniel Sieracki; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Mabel Abbet and Martha and Joseph Shimon; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law; John and Mary Sieracki, Sylvester and Francis Sieracki, Henry and Leona Sieracki, Edwin Sieracki, Alex Sieracki, Blanche and Clarence Hein, Constance and John Glisch, Bill Sieracki, Max and Marguerite Sieracki, Stanley and Catherine Sieracki. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall. Officiating at the Mass of Christian burial will be the Rev. William Van Dynhoven with burial to take place at St. Casimir Cemetery at a later time. The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, October 26, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Expressions of Sympathy may be sent to the family by visiting www.pfefferfuneralhome .com The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
