Mrs. Alex (Theresa) Pokorski, 73, of 4314 Custer St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Tuesday at her residence. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Friday in Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 am in St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Jsoeph will officiate and burial will be in St. Casimir Cemetery, Northeim. Mrs. Pokorski, nee Theresa Tomchek, was born Feb. 23, 1905 in the Town of Centerville, Manaitowoc County, daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Jagodinski Tomchek. She was married to Alex Pokorski June ??, ??, in Sts. Casimir Church, Northeim. He preceded her in death June 21, 1961. Mrs. Pokorski was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society at St. Church and Senior Citizens of Manitowoc. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Marvin and Karen Pokorski of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Marion and John Treadwell of Minneapolis,, Minn.; two brothers, Joseph Tomchek of Manitowoc and Ludwig Tomchek of St. Francis, Wis.; a sister, Miss Mary Tomchek of Manitowoc and seven grandchildren. Four brothers, John, Charles, Clarence and Frank and two sisters, Clara and Martha preceded her in death. Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home from 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Thursday evening. The Rosary will be recited by the Rosary Society at 3:30 o'clock and a prayer service will be at 8 o'clock by members of the parish, Daughters of Isabella, relatives and friends.
