John Tomchek, 52, formerly engaged in farming in Centerville, died in the city last night. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Leschke funeral home and at 9:30 at the St. Casimir’s Catholic church, Newton. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He was born in Two Rivers in 1895 and later moved to Centerville. He never married. Survivors are a brother, Capt. Frank Tomchek of this city; four half- brothers, Ludwig and Charles of Milwaukee, Clarence of this city, Joseph of Centerville; three half-sisters, Mrs. Alex Pokorski, Mrs. Edward Jagodinsky, and Miss Mary Tomchek all of this city. The body may be viewed after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
