Agnes Mrotek, age 88, a resident of St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc, formerly of 10802 Lakeshore Road, Cleveland, died Monday evening, May 23, 2005, at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc. She was born March 31, 1917, in Cleveland, daughter of the late Steven and Frances Tomchek Mrotek. Agnes was employed at Heresite Protective Coatings and later at Mirro Aluminum Company for many years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community. Survivors include a brother: Alvin Mrotek; and a sister-in-law: Betty Scheinoha, Manitowoc. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters. The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Mary's Home Chapel, Manitowoc, from 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2005, until the time of service at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2005, at St. Mary's Home Chapel, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry with burial at St. Casimir Cemetery, Northeim. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice. The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
