Aloysius Mrotek, 59, of 2002 Madison St., Manitowoc, died Sunday evening at an Oshkosh hospital where he had been a patient three months. Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Leschke-Bergner Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in St. Casimir Cemetery, Newton. Mr. Mrotek was born Feb. 4, 1897, in the Town of Centerville and was employed 32 years at the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., until he became ill two years ago. He married the former Anna Pokorski on Aug. 2, 1922. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Mary Church. Surviving are his wife; mother, Mrs. Frances Mrotek of Centerville; a daughter; (private); four brothers, John of Newton and Frank, Edward and Alvin of Centerville; five sisters, Miss Emily, Miss Regina and Miss Agnes of Centerville, Mrs. Clara Yost of Hika and Mrs. John Glomski of Newton; and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Tuesday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
