Valentine Malicki, 83, of (too light) who spends his summers at Newton, was found dead in bed at the home by his nephew, Casimer Leschke who also lived at the home. He had come to Newton 10 days ago. Funeral services will be held Saturday at ??a.m. from the Leschke funeral home. Burial will be St. Casimir's cemetery at Nordheim. Mr. Malicki was born in Germany in 1861 and came to (too light) in 1894. He married Miss Constance Siewert 50 years ago. He engaged in the (too light) business in Chicago, for many years now has been living a retired life. He is survived by his wife, five daughters, Mrs. H..(too light) of Oshkosh, Mrs. Ann (too light) of Hinsdale, ??, Mrs. ??? Mitchell, Misses Esther and Sophia of Chicago, two sons, Se???, Charles Malicki at ??? ??? Denver, Colo. and Pfc Edward(?) Malicki at Camp ??? ???. The body may be viewed at the funeral home until the time of the services.
