Albert E. "Guy" Weber, age 83, of 1613 Division Street, Manitowoc, died Friday morning, December 12, 2008, at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center in Manitowoc. Albert was born on August 22, 1925, at Taus, son of the late Frank and Anna Kopidlansky Weber. He attended school at Taus. He served in the Army Air Corp from January 24, 1946 to July 3, 1947. On October 16, 1948, Albert was married to Jean L. Basel at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Northeim. She preceded him in death on April 24, 1995. He farmed in the town of Newton and worked at Jagemann Plating and retired from St. Mary's Home in 1987. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #706 of Manitowoc. Albert truly enjoyed spending time with his family. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Bert E. (Beth) Weber, Springfield, IL; Gregory R. (Peggy) Weber, Tucson, AZ; two daughters and sons-in-laws: Nancy (Richard) Meihsner, Fort Pierce, FL; Susan (David) Lindholm, Manitowoc; nine grand- children: Leah and Seth Weber; Justin (Sarah) Weber; Lucas and Kaylana Weber; Abby (Nick) McDonald; Nathan Meihsner; Sarah and Brent Lindholm; five great grand- children: Jacob, Mazie, Willa, Kate, and Erin; his gal pal: Marian Diedrich, Manitowoc; sisters and brothers include: Sr. Julianna Weber, Manitowoc; Hermena Hartman, Manitowoc; Ann (Buck) Pieters, Mesa, AZ; Eugene (Joan) Weber, Green Bay; Louis (Marie) Weber, Manitowoc; Leroy (Maryann) Weber, Manitowoc; Mary Weber, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife: Jean Weber; one son: Leland Weber; one brother: Frank Weber. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish on Grand Avenue. Rev. Daniel Felton will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial of his cremated remains at St. Casimir Cemetery in Northeim. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 10:30 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is serving the Weber family.
