Mrs. Francis (sic) Mrotek, 79, of Rt. 1, Cleveland, died Thursday afternoon at her home in the Town of Centerville following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Leschke-Bergner Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Northeim. The Rev. Arthur Danks will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. The former Frances Tomchek was born in the Town of Centerville, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Tomchek, March 19, 1877. She was married to Stephen Mrotek Feb. 9, 1895. He died July 18, 1943, and a daughter, Helen, and a son, Alex, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Mrotek was a member of the Rosary Society of the church. Surviving her are five daughters, Miss Emily, Miss Regina and Miss Agnes at home, Mrs. Clara Jost of Hika and Mrs. John Glomski of Newton; four sons, Frank and Alvin at home, John of Newton and Edward of Cleveland; two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Kortas and Mrs. John Sitkiwicz of Manitowoc; 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 pm. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. by the Rosary Society and at _:30 p.m. by Father Danks.
