MRS. TOMCHEK, OF CENTERVILLE PASSES AWAY Ill for a long time and a patient at the hospital for the last fourteen weeks death yesterday afternoon at 4:20 came as a release from suffering for Mrs. Gertrude Tomchek, wife of Frank Tomchek, Sr., of Centerville at the Holy Family hospital. The funeral will be held from the home at Centerville Friday morning with services at 9 o’clock at St. Casimir’s Catholic church, the Rev. Domonik Szopinski officiating. Burial will be at St. Casimir’s cemetery at Newton. Mrs. Tomchek, nee Jagodinski, was born in the town of Newton March 3, 1873 and was fifty-two years old. She was married February 22, 1897 to Frank Tomchek and the family has always made its home at Centerville. Ten children were born to the couple, nine of whom, with the husband, survive to mourn her death. The children are Theresa, Martha and Marie, Clarence and Joseph, all at home; Frank and John of this city; Ludwig and Charles of Milwaukee. A brother, John Jagodinski of this city and a sister, Mrs. Frank Wadzinski of Centerville, also survive her. Mrs. Tomchek was a member of the Holy Rosary society of St. Casimir’s church.
