Peter P. Siewert, 76, of 1410 S. 12th St., Manitowoc, died late Sunday evening, July 25, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Theodore Hendricks and burial will be in St. Casimir Cemetery, Northeim. Mr. Siewert was born June 28, 1906, in the Town of Centerville, son of the late Wlady and Helen Bonk Siewert. He moved to Kohler where he was employed until 1921. He then moved to the home farm in the Town of Cleveland which he owned and operated until his retirement in 1961. He married Helen Mrotek, June 19, 1929. She preceded him in death Oct. 12, 1951. He then married Violet V. Knipp, Oct. 30, 1954, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mr. Siewert was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 706, and St. Boniface parish. Survivors include his wife, Violet; a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Janice Siewert of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Ray Stuckmann of Newton; a brother, Joseph of Milwaukee; three sisters, Mrs. Arno (Sophie) Zurheide and Mrs. Adeline Stocks of Sheboygan, and Mrs. Gordon (Helen) Pippert of Cleveland; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by seven brothers. Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday where a prayer service will be conducted at 8 p.m. by Father Hendricks.
